Texas Roadhouse – Winston-Salem, NC | Full FOH Remodel

VMC Facilities completed a comprehensive Texas Roadhouse full FOH remodel in Winston-Salem, NC, transforming the restaurant’s front-of-house areas with updated seating, architectural finishes, lighting, millwork, concrete work, and improvements throughout the dining and bar areas. The renovation required careful coordination across multiple trades to deliver an updated restaurant environment while maintaining the recognizable Texas Roadhouse design and atmosphere.

A significant portion of the project focused on refreshing the restaurant’s dining areas. Existing booths were removed and replaced throughout much of the front of house, while new tables and cabinetry were installed to complete the updated seating layout. Interior wall-cap ledges were also removed and replaced with new prefinished wall-cap material. Existing steel columns received new finish treatments, creating a more cohesive appearance throughout the renovated space.

The bar area received more extensive structural modifications. Existing risers and platforms were demolished, followed by framing for a new platform configuration. Additional improvements included new LED lighting within the alcohol cabinet and ramp lighting leading into the 200 dining section. New black concrete was placed and finished in the 200 section, adding another updated architectural element to the remodeled dining area.

Work extended beyond the primary dining spaces to several important entry and finish details. The vestibule double doors were replaced, and cedar lap siding surrounding the restroom vestibule door area was removed and reinstalled as part of the renovation.

From demolition and framing to seating, millwork, lighting, concrete, doors, cedar finishes, and final detailing, VMC Facilities coordinated the numerous components required to complete this Texas Roadhouse full FOH remodel in Winston-Salem, NC. The completed project provides a refreshed and functional front-of-house environment while preserving the warm, distinctive character guests associate with the Texas Roadhouse brand.
