VMC Facilities completed a comprehensive interior and exterior renovation for Texas Roadhouse in North Charleston, South Carolina. Combining two coordinated scopes of work—interior Job #260022 and exterior Job #260024—the project refreshed major areas of the existing restaurant while preserving the familiar rustic character and signature Texas Roadhouse aesthetic.
On the exterior, improvements included the installation of new Woodtone Allura siding and vertical panels, soffit, fascia boards, trim and architectural accessories around the building. Crews also completed a new metal roofing package at the restaurant’s tower elements, along with gutter and downspout work, exterior painting, staining, caulking and lighting improvements. Additional siding, accessories and lighting were completed around the dumpster enclosure to carry the updated finishes throughout the property.
Inside the restaurant, VMC Facilities coordinated an extensive front-of-house renovation encompassing the foyer, waiting area, vestibule, to-go area, bar and multiple dining sections. Existing cedar was removed and replaced with new cedar siding, while updated metal and tin elements, flooring and architectural finishes were installed throughout the space.
The interior scope also included new and refinished top caps, wrapped posts, seating riser flooring and detailed booth modifications. Booths supplied by others were carefully cut and custom fitted to integrate with the newly finished walls. Crews completed painting, staining, sealing, trim and caulking, along with new Nichiha faux-brick finishes, black FRP near the kitchen entrance, decorative glass wall sections and other restaurant accessories.
Electrical work supported the renovation with lighting modifications and relocation, new can lighting and work associated with the updated hostess area. Each phase required careful coordination between trades as crews progressed through individual sections of the operating restaurant.
Together, the interior and exterior renovations delivered a cohesive refresh from the building façade through the dining room, updating aging materials while maintaining the warm, recognizable Texas Roadhouse environment.
