Phase 2 Progress Update

We are excited to share that Phase 2 of our restaurant interior remodel in Slidell, Louisiana is now in full swing, spear headed by our Project Manager: Andrew DiCarlo & Superintendent – Dave Robinson and our amazing partners.

This stage is a major step forward in delivering a modern, fully refreshed dining space that enhances both functionality and guest experience.

As part of this restaurant renovation project, we are performing a full interior build-out upgrade. The existing furniture is being completely removed to make way for a brand-new commercial furniture package designed to improve layout efficiency and aesthetic appeal. In addition, we are replacing all cedar elements throughout the restaurant, updating the overall finish palette to reflect a more contemporary design.

Structural components such as rafters and ceiling decking are also being addressed. Our construction crew is completing a detailed dusting, prep, and repainting process to revitalize exposed surfaces, contributing to a cleaner and more polished restaurant environment.

The restaurant restroom remodel is another focal point of Phase 2. The VMC team will be installing modern restroom fixtures, new toilet partitions, updated vanities, upgraded storage cabinets, and fresh doors. To improve hygiene and sustainability, recessed electric hand dryers are being installed, replacing the need for paper towels and aligning with eco-friendly operational goals.

These interior renovations are part of a broader strategy to increase customer satisfaction, improve operational flow, and elevate the overall guest experience. Every aspect of the project—from material selection to final finish—is being completed with precision and care by our experienced VMC restaurant construction team.
