Texas Roadhouse Restaurant Dining Room Expansion
McDonough, GA
Completed by VMC Facilities, LLC
VMC Facilities was proud to partner once again with Texas Roadhouse for a dining room expansion project in McDonough, Georgia. This fast-tracked commercial construction project focused on increasing seating capacity by adding 476 square feet to the existing dining room—making room for an additional 40 seats to better serve guests during peak hours.
The project kicked off with a pre-construction meeting and quickly progressed into action. Our scope of work included interior wall framing, plywood wall installation, emergency exit door replacement, and pouring a new sidewalk and concrete pad around a relocated storm drain. We also handled key electrical upgrades including pulling and landing new service wires to the sub-panel and installing a disconnect for the air handling unit.
To meet energy and safety standards, our team coordinated with the City of McDonough for inspections and achieved Certificate of Occupancy approval ahead of schedule. Exterior and interior finishes included 170 feet of freshly painted 2×6 base trim, relocating and trimming out new window openings, and working closely with roofing contractors to prepare for the installation of a new curb.
This restaurant remodel and expansion project was another example of our team’s ability to deliver quality work quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to operations. Almost complete, this McDonough Texas Roadhouse will be ready to welcome more guests with the same legendary food and service—just with a little more elbow room.
