Bubba’s 33 – Restaurant Conversion from a Wild Wings to a Bubba’s 33 in Jacksonville, NC.
Restaurant Conversion
Conversion / Commercial Renovation
VMC Facilities proudly completed the full restaurant conversion of a former Buffalo Wild Wings into a brand-new Bubba’s 33 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This project transformed a 7,703-square-foot, one-story building with a 26-foot-high roofline into a modern, full-service restaurant built to Bubba’s national brand standards.
The scope included full interior and exterior renovation, utility upgrades, and extensive system installations. Our team handled every phase—from demolition through final turnover—including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC systems, ductwork, kitchen exhaust hoods, and finishes. The renovation was designed to meet all applicable codes while supporting high-volume restaurant operations.
This location now reflects Bubba’s signature style: a high-energy, family-friendly sports restaurant offering hand-tossed pizza, juicy burgers, scratch-made comfort food, and ice-cold beer in a lively, casual setting. With over 40 locations and growing, Bubba’s 33 is part of the Texas Roadhouse family and continues to expand across the U.S.
Construction wrapped over Labor Day weekend, and the Certificate of Occupancy was issued just in time to welcome the new Bubba’s 33 team for training and setup. Grand Opening: September 8, 2025.
