Project: TXRH – Pelham, AL Partial Interior Remodel
VMC Facilities completed a strategic partial interior remodel at Texas Roadhouse in Pelham, Alabama, designed to improve guest flow, maximize seating flexibility, and enhance the overall front-of-house experience. This interior remodel focused on reconfiguring underutilized space while maintaining the brand’s signature rustic aesthetic.
The former Lover’s Lane dining section was transformed into a more family-oriented layout, creating a welcoming, open environment better suited for high-volume service. Booths and tables were reworked to introduce additional two-top and four-top seating, providing greater versatility for daily operations. The surrounding dining areas were upgraded with larger six-top tables and booths to better accommodate group dining and peak-hour traffic.
The bar area also received a significant refresh. A brand-new bar top was installed, enhancing both durability and visual appeal while maintaining the warm wood tones synonymous with the Texas Roadhouse brand. The bar foot rail was reworked to ensure long-term performance and guest comfort.
Front-of-house improvements included the removal of the existing host stand and installation of a new host stand in a more functional location, along with relocated power and data connections to support operational efficiency. Lighting was reconfigured throughout the dining room, including canopy and goose neck fixtures, to align with the updated seating plan and maintain proper illumination across all dining areas.
Throughout the project, careful coordination allowed the team to execute structural modifications, finish updates, electrical adjustments, and millwork enhancements while preserving the restaurant’s established character.
This dining room conversion delivers improved traffic flow, expanded seating options, and an upgraded guest experience — all while staying true to the Texas Roadhouse atmosphere guests know and expect.
