About This Project
Project Launch: New Texas Roadhouse in Mt. Dora, FL
- Start Date: June 10,2025
- VMC Team: PM: Joel Williams & Superintendent – Scot Hampel
VMC Construction is excited to announce the official launch of a ground-up restaurant build for a brand-new 9,159 sq ft Texas Roadhouse—complete with a covered patio—in the heart of Mt. Dora, Florida. Our team has fully mobilized on-site, with site clearing, grading, and excavation already in progress.
We are now transitioning into foundation preparation, with underground utilities, plumbing layout, and slab work scheduled next. This project will soon take shape with CMU block walls, structural steel framing, and all the custom rustic finishes that define the Texas Roadhouse brand.
From the early stages of site development through final interior build-out, this high-volume restaurant will be built to accommodate the full guest experience and operational needs of a modern dine-in destination.
