Full exterior restaurant remodel in Memphis, TN

VMC Facilities is ecstatic to work on a comprehensive full exterior restaurant remodel at the Texas Roadhouse in Memphis, TN. This six-week project focuses on enhancing curb appeal, energy efficiency, and overall guest experience through a wide range of exterior site improvements and upgrades.

The scope includes repaving the parking lot, with a major repair at the northeast corner for improved traffic flow. Lighting upgrades feature new LED fixtures across the property—parking lot pole lights, gooseneck fixtures, can lights, tube lighting in the riser room, roof-mounted and flag illumination, and additional wall packs at the back dock.

Signage improvements consist of the removal of the south building sign and the installation of updated north building and pole signs, a front door sign, and decorative border lighting, plus new to-go awning poles. Landscaping enhancements include flower bed demolition, tree removal and trimming, rock bed expansion, irrigation repairs, and filling in shrub gaps for a refreshed exterior.

The building itself will receive new Allura siding and trim, a full metal roof replacement using Dura-last roofing, fresh paint on the roof ladder, dumpster gates, CMU wall, and monument pole, as well as repointing of existing brickwork and expansion joint sealing. The project also includes replacing all exterior doors, installing two to-go windows with stainless steel shelves, and setting seven new outdoor waiting benches.

As with all our projects, VMC handles the full construction scope while working closely with client-provided materials such as the to-go windows and door units. The result is a fully updated exterior with a polished, modern finish ready to welcome guests.
