Exterior Restaurant Remodel in Slidell, LA for Texas Roadhouse

Exterior Restaurant Remodel Underway – Slidell, LA

VMC Facilities, LLC proudly completed Phase 1 of a comprehensive, three-phase full restaurant remodel at Texas Roadhouse in Slidell, Louisiana. This major transformation—led by Project Manager Andrew DiCarlo and Superintendent Robert Hedrick—focused on a complete overhaul of the building’s exterior, modernizing and reinforcing its structure for both style and durability.

The first phase began with full demolition and removal of all existing siding and trim. Our team installed new Tyvek house wrap, Ice & Water shield, and continuous wall flashing around the building’s perimeter to protect against moisture intrusion. We ran new speaker wire and installed can lights in the overhang, enhancing both the guest experience and exterior ambiance.

One of the major upgrades includes replacing all exterior cedar with durable, prefinished Allure cement siding for a long-lasting, low-maintenance finish. We also installed new hardy trim and fascia on the towers, new PVC louvers, and sleek 5V Galvalume metal roofing—complete with matching gutters and downspouts.

Additional updates included:

  • Installing LED soffit lighting

  • Painting the dumpster corral and gates

  • Installing a new TOGO door and hardware

  • Setting new service doors, mechanical room doors, and new signage

  • Installing up-lighting on towers

  • Installing a large yellow pipe safety railing

  • Repairing water-damaged sub fascia near the front entry

  • Restroom improvements, including partitions, reinstalling accessories, and painting

As we close out Phase 1, we’re gearing up for Phase 2 with momentum. Exterior doors will be replaced and all metal railings repainted to match the refreshed aesthetic.
